FRANCE GALL, Résist !
Isabelle Gall, known as France Gall, (09/10/1947-07/01/2018) French singer. She enjoyed great success from the beginning of the 1960s, notably winning first prize in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1965 with the title Poupée de Cire, Poupée de Son, composed by Serge Gainsbourg. Subsequently, while she enjoyed success in Germany, her popularity faded in France until she met the singer-songwriter Michel Berger, whom she married in 1976. She again enjoyed success from the mid-1970s to the early 1990s, with songs composed for her by Michel Berger (notably La Declaration of Love, Si, Maman Si, Il jouait du pianostanding, Résiste, Débranche, Diego libre dans sa tête, Babacar , Ella, she has it or Obviously). Marked by the death of her husband in 1992, health problems and the death of her daughter, she left the musical scene in 1997. She created the musical Résiste in 2015..
